“Archeologist Dr. Nelson Glueck, probably the greatest modern authority on Israeli archeology, commented, ‘No archeological discovery has ever controverted a biblical reference. Scores of archeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or in exact detail historical statements in the Bible.” (Mcfarland 92)

Boyle’s Argument: The Bible can be considered historically accurate.

Premise 1: The Bible confirms precise and detailed events, actual kings, people, places, and specific customs of various nationalities all of these can be verified by archaeologists, and historians.

Premise 2: Out of the hundreds of archaeological excavations to date there have never been any contradictions to the events outlined in the scriptures.

Conclusion: Therefore based on these facts we accept the Bible as historically accurate.

Archeologist Sir Fredrick Kenyon stated, “The number of manuscripts of the New Testament, of early translations from it, and of quotations from it in the oldest writers of the church, is so large that it is practically certain the true reading of every doubtful passage is preserved in some one or other of these ancient authorities… This can be said of no other ancient book in the world.” (Mcfarland 84)
